Sales Manager and business developer for energy-exchangers (m/f)

Based in China we are looking for a:

Sales Manager and business developer for energy-exchangers (m/f)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and increase our Asian customer base, coordinating membrane supply and scanning the market for potential customers for these Chinese produced products
  • Writing a business case for the sales of heat exchangers to thirds: focusing on OEM customers which are willing to source components
  • Autonomous, visits of potential customers showing and informing them on products produced by PdP in: Canada, Germany and China
  • Observing and researching market trends
  • Participation in international trade fairs
  • Working closely with product management and development teams in Germany and Canada
  • Technical advice, quoting, ordering, negotiation, project support


Skills / Qualifications / Experience:

  • Degree in Engineering / Industrial Engineer or equivalent experience, ideally in climate and ventilation technology
  • Very good technical understanding combined with work experience in sales of technical products requiring explanation
  • Proven ability to write a successful business case
  • Good insight into the ventilation/air conditioning industry in China, Japan and South Korea
  • Communicative, articulate, creative, high capacity for self-organization
  • Fluent English, spoken and written, other languages beneficial
  • Willingness to travel within Asia (mainly in China, Japan and South Korea) about 30% of your time)
  • Used to work with modern communication tools and MS Office
  • Motivation, teamwork, accuracy and reliability
